How to get there?
Access from bus, train, and airport is easy as the bus and Kent train station is a 5 minute distance from the hotel.
If you are travelling from Cork Airport a taxi is the quickest and easiest way to get to our hotel. You will find a taxi rank located just outside the departure terminal at Cork Airport.
Alternatively, you can get the public bus service. Routes 226 or 226A go straight from the airport to Cork Bus Station which is a 5-minute walk from our hotel.
Is there car parking?
Limited car parking is available on a first come first serve basis at an additional charge, and can be pre booked online. When spaces are full, guests will be directed to a nearby multi story car park, which will be charged at their published rates. Please check in at the hotel, drop your luggage and directions to the car parking will be given to you by reception.
Is the hotel in the city centre?
Yes, Hotel Isaacs is in the city centre. It is 10 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the bus station and the main shopping street in Cork, Patrick Street. Shops, theatres, pubs, restaurants, nightclubs as well as the commercial and legal centre of Cork, are all 0 - 15 minutes maximum walk.
Do you accept group bookings?
Unfortunately due to the size of the hotel, we are unable to accept group bookings. We regret to advise you that if the hotel discovers a group booking has been inadvertently taken either as single or multiple reservations online from different websites, we (the hotel) reserve the right to cancel the reservation on arrival and the group will forfeit in full any deposits already paid with no liability on the hotel to find alternative accommodation for the group.
What are the check-in/check-out times?
Rooms are available from 3 pm. If you plan to arrive earlier in the day, please let us know and we will endeavor to have the rooms ready for you on arrival. Check out of the hotel rooms is at 12 noon or from the apartments by 10:30 am. If later an extra charge applies.
Is breakfast included in the rate?
In most cases, breakfast is not included in the price but can be purchased either online when making your reservation, at reception, or in the restaurant. Please check your booking confirmation where it will state if you have breakfast included. Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant from 7.00h - 10.00h Monday - Friday and 7.30h -10.30h Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
Can I leave my luggage?
Yes, we will be happy to hold your luggage.
What safekeeping facilities are available for valuables?
All bedrooms have a laptop safe.
Can we have dinner in the hotel?
Greenes Restaurant is the hotel's popular restaurant. As the restaurant is busy most nights it is highly advisable to book your dinner reservation table in advance. This can be done by requesting a time at your time of booking, by contacting the hotel via e-mail or by phone or by contacting Greenes directly.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Only guide dogs are permitted within the hotel.
Do you have non-smoking rooms?
Yes, all guests rooms at Hotel Isaacs are non-smoking. Smoking is not permitted by law in any public area of the hotel.
Do you have accessible rooms?
Yes, we have a limited number of accessible rooms with wet bathrooms. Please make a note if you require an accessible room. Please note there is no lift access so our apartments may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Do you have interconnecting rooms at your hotel?
No.
Is it cheaper to book online?
Booking directly over the phone or through the hotel website is always cheaper per night when compared to third-party websites.
Is identification required to check-in at the hotel?
All guests are requested to produce a photo id at check-in.
Does the hotel have babysitters?
No.
What facilities does the hotel have for families with babies?
Baby cots and high chairs.
Are security deposits required?
All rooms and apartments must be secured with a valid credit card pre-authorisation or full payment on arrival, verified by Pin, and the customer present. Should a credit card not be available, full payment with a debit card will be required. This deposit is refunded in full, provided there is no damage or soilage to the property or excessive disruption to other guests.

Cork Airport is located 7.9Km from the hotel, just 15 minutes south of the city by taxi or 20 minutes on the frequent coach services.
Which is the nearest train station?
Kent Station is 650m from the hotel, just 10 minutes on foot.

What is there for families to do in the area?

Is the reception open 24 hours a day?
Yes.
Does the hotel provide late check-out?
Yes, for a fee and subject to availability.
Can you arrange for amenities or gifts to be placed in the room?
Yes, but a lead time is required.
Can I book sightseeing tours directly at the hotel?
Tours cannot be booked directly at the hotel, but our team will be happy to advise on the best things to see and do in the city.
Does the hotel have lifts?
Yes, there is a lift in the hotel. However, there is no lift access in the self-catering apartments.
Does the hotel car park have accessible parking spaces?
No.
Does the hotel have a step-free entrance?
Yes, there is a step-free entrance to the Hotel. However, there is not for the apartments.
Does the hotel restaurant cater to vegetarians, vegans, and Coeliacs?
Yes, however, there are limited choices due to the food we serve at Greenes.
Does the hotel restaurant have a kids' dinner menu?
No, this is not available.
Does the hotel have corporate rates available?
Yes, these rates are based on volume.
Are there any meeting and conference room facilities available at the hotel?
No.
