New Year ~ New You! Out with the old and in with the new! Yes, January is typically a time of new beginnings, a time to strategise, to do better and be more. The same is true in our Cork city-centre hotel except we could say it’s very much a case of “New Year, New General Manager” with the appointment of Clement Gleeson arriving in the Rebel City.
Welcome Clement
Normally, we would be bemoaning the end of the festive period, tediously folding away the Christmas lights (they’ll still be tangled next year), and feeling slightly nauseous at the sight of an unopened box of Celebrations on yet another dark, dreary January day. Things couldn’t be more different this New Year with the arrival of Clement, brimming with energy and new ideas for the future of our oasis of calm that is Hotel Isaacs and Apartments, Greenes Restaurant and Cask Bar.
With over thirty years of industry knowledge having previously worked with PREM Group for fifteen years in various roles as General Manager, National Sales Manager and Hotel Area Manager, Clement comes to us armed with the experience to take us to the next level in hospitality. He has worked in some of Ireland’s leading hotels including Aghadoe Heights in Killarney and the Park Hotel in Kenmare.
Hotel Updates
So what can you expect on your next visit? Well, not one to beat about the bush, Clement has already commenced a major refurbishment of the hotel where the Hotel lobby/reception areas and the public toilets will be completely transformed. Our award-winning Greenes Restaurant will also have a new look (don’t worry the stunning view of our waterfall will still greet you as you dine). And, for those of you who prefer to stay in our serviced self-catering apartments, you’re in for a treat as the final phase of our apartment revamp will be complete.
All in all, it’s shaping up to be an exciting 2022 for us. With all these new improvements, you can be guaranteed an even more amazing experience on your next visit to us.
